【If I Had Known the Answer to Life】

似詩 - Poemlike
If I had known the answer
to Life, I would've kept it secretly
in mind and told no one other
as if there would be hardly
any answer now and ever.
And I would've hid it as deep
as I ever could, as if I had forgotten
this treasure in a senseless heap
where philosophical stuffs be rotten
and introversive spiders creep.
Then I would not have remembered it,
the forementioned answer to Life,
nor'd I have kept it or hid it.
So I would've always been at strife
with the spiders who claimed they'd known it.
